In this episode of Talking TV, there's joy because the long, way too long, boring Fall TV season is over. Now we can get down to TV business and it's none too soon. With the economy stinking up the joint, there's no money to spend so we might as well stay home. We're already watching, American Idol, Fringe and 24. Now we're ready to add to our couch time with The Closer and Burn Notice among others. There's also information about a competition for entry level filmmakers from Netflix and a casting call for old newlyweds.

They're still waiting for "new" among the old. For instance, Drew Carey on The Price is Right and what's next on Heroes. The SHOW OF THE WEEK picks up where COP ROCK left off. Viva Laughlin may last a little longer than the musical crime show of the 1990's. There are other items of interest.
